Are you thinking about running again after having a baby—or already out there but something just feels “off”?

Let’s Talk: Running After Baby is more than a lecture—it’s a guided conversation and hands-on session led by a pelvic floor physical therapist and postpartum exercise specialist. We’ll explore how to return to running safely and confidently while giving space for your questions, your experience, and your body.

This event is perfect for you if:

  • You’re unsure when or how to start running postpartum

  • You’re already running but noticing discomfort, leaking, or fatigue

  • You want expert guidance and support from others on the same journey

  • You’re curious how your core, breath, and pelvic floor all connect to your stride

What to Expect:

  • A short interactive talk with visuals and real-life examples

  • Live demos and movement you can try on the spot. Wear something you can move in!

  • Group discussion with space to ask anything

  • Tips you can apply immediately to feel stronger and more in tune with your body

You don’t need to “bounce back”—just tune in, connect, and take that next stride forward. Let’s talk. Let’s move. Let’s run smart together!

About Chelsea Anjeski, DPT, PT, OCS, Level Up Wellness & Physical Therapy

Level Up Wellness & PT is women-owned wellness and physical therapy center, specializing in pelvic floor health, breast cancer rehabilitation services, and orthopedic conditions.

"We started as three staff physical therapists, frustrated by the lack of patient-centered care and money focused decision-making in the clinics we were in. We wanted more time to focus on our patients needs, we wanted more community for our clients to be a part of while they got better, we wanted more collaboration with medical teams and other physicians to be able to serve our clients better. We decided to start our own practice-where we would treat people with the care they deserved, have classes and events to create more community and fun while people heal, and create space in our schedules to work as a team with other clinicians for our clients. We believe this is what makes us different."

Have you ever heard another mom say something like, “running saved my life” and wondered what she meant? She probably was referring to the amount of mental clarity she receives after a great movement session!

That's right, Mama... running helps you physically, but did you know that running can actually help you emotionally and mentally, too? Yes, the fabled “runner’s high” is real!

Studies have shown that cardio training—like running—helps moms of all ages and stages of motherhood reduce the risk of anxiety, depression, dementia, and insomnia. Exercise produces neurotransmitters such as epinephrine, serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine. These fun molecules influence your energy levels, thoughts, and emotions. In fact, norepinephrine is the chemical that helps moderate the brain's response to stress, helping you release some of the mental strain of mom life (yes, please!).

Additionally, studies show that running can help you improve overall brain performance—think decision-making, higher thinking, productivity, creativity, and learning.
