I'm so happy to have found Jo and this community! I go to the Stroller Strides twice a week with my 8-month son and it has become the only workout we do. I started when he was around 3 months and I couldn't do other workouts because they wouldn't allow kids or he would start crying while I was on zoom. Being able to not only bring him with me (and no other moms or the instructor Jo are judging if he's fussy!) to get a good workout, but also to involve him by singing, moving him around, and getting him some fresh air, has been so great.
Jo tailors the workouts to who is attending that day, and it's just the right amount of challenging while not being too much for a postpartum body. As I've recovered more from my C-section, she adds variations to the exercises. She is so thoughtful in planning the classes and in building a community with fun icebreakers, plenty of time to chat during class, and hangouts after with coffee for us and toys for the babies/toddlers. I've met some great moms through these hangouts and always look forward to going again.

Fit4Mom is a wonderful and supportive community! Whether you are mothering a newborn, a toddler, or an older kid, being part of this group will help you get out of the house (with or without kiddos), connect with your body, get stronger, and meet new people. I found Jo (the class instructor) to be so welcoming and supportive from day one, helping me get back into movement and find social connection after the birth of my first baby. Including babies in class helps overcome a barrier to fitness and is a fun bonding experience. All the classes can be tailored to different fitness levels and are flexible for moms (whether that means rolling up later than planned, pausing to nurse, or modifying an exercise). There are a variety of classes to choose from at different times/locations plus other fun social activities, all at a really good value compared to other fitness programs/gyms. I'm glad I found Fit4Mom and would definitely recommend to others!

Fit4MOM was such an important part of my pregnancy journey and I know it will be a big part of my postpartum journey as well! I joined when I was 14 weeks pregnant and starting to wonder what exercises were still ok to do as I got bigger. The owner for fit4MOM510, Jo, was super welcoming from day 1 and was always willing to modify moves for me as I progressed through my pregnancy. She was always thoughtful and planned this out ahead of time! My last class with fit4MOM was at 39+3 and that night I ended up getting induced. Baby blues hit me pretty hard and my doc asked me to spend time with other moms. I was so lucky to have this group to return to just two weeks after giving birth! I can't workout yet but it was so nice to be with other moms from class who knows exactly what I'm going through right now. Fit4MOM is so much more than an exercise class - it's a community that normalizes everything moms go through. You can show up late to class, you can show up and spend the entire class nursing your baby, just showing up is winning! There are also community events all the time!

So thankful for Jo and these wonderful classes. Alongside all the joy of bringing a new baby into your family, the postpartum experience can also feel isolating and nerve racking at times. It’s also hard to find time to take care of yourself.
This class has been a positive light, getting me outside to focus on my mental and physical health and build community around me, all while bonding with my baby. 100% recommend to all moms, whether recently postpartum or several years out; you will treasure time spent in these classes.

I heard about Fit4mom classes through a friend. The first class was free and I was hooked. I love how Jo meets you where you are, in terms of your fitness journey, and challenges you when she sees you're improving. Plus, in Stroller Strides, you can bring your little one. My daughter loves being outside, hearing Jo sing from exercise to exercise, and she gets to meet other babies. Big bonus, I get to meet other moms in my area! There are mom's night out or even activities to just hang out with moms and kiddos you see in class.
We look forward to workouts every week, as I know I'll get a good workout and my daughter will get to socialize! Another bonus, I can fit into my pre-pregnancy pants so it must be working!

I've been struggling for years to get some exercise consistency into my life, but it's so hard to balance work and kids and all of the things. I joined the run club when my youngest was around 1yo and this was the the thing that finally worked for me. The community keeps me coming back and now I have a full membership. Being able to bring my kids (or not!) to class gives me so much more flexibility than other fitness options. It's a comfortable way to ease back into exercising in the early postpartum days, but the workouts definitely scale up in intensity if you are farther out and looking for more of a challenge. The membership is a great value compared to other options as well. I'm grateful I found this supportive and fun community!

Jo and Lauren are great. Fitness and running have always been an important part of my life but between childbirth injuries, work and a kiddo it's been really hard for me to find my rhythm again. I joined the run club a few months ago and it's been amazing. It's helped me find consistency, positive reinforcement, a way to ease back in, and a community of other moms. I really can't say enough good things. If you are on the fence just go to a class or a running meet up, you'll be glad you did. The fact that we meet near fun parks and other kid friendly spots also helps. My daughter has started to get really excited when I tell her we are going to run club.

Such an amazing resource to have as a new mom! I went every Wednesday and Friday while on maternity leave, and it was a great way to get out of the house, move my body, and meet other women in a similar stage of life and motherhood. Jo was incredibly welcoming and supportive, and truly understands what it means to be a new mom getting out of the house for the first time. My maternity leave would not have been as fun or meaningful without this group - thank you to Jo for maintaining this community and to all the moms I met along the way!

I love this group so much! I was a runner a million years ago before having a baby and was looking for a supportive running group and a community of other moms and found both in Fit4mom 510's run class.
The coaches and other moms were so welcoming and encouraging. I look forward to every run whether I bring my son along for the ride or not. They helped me successfully train for my first 5K in ages and made it fun! I especially appreciate that the whole family feels welcome whether it's play dates after our runs or fun family runs.
It's a great group and I've just signed up for my third session! I honestly can't recommend them enough. Whatever your level of fitness or running experience the supportive coaches and community of this group with have your back and help you reach your goals while having fun, running new stroller friendly trails and meeting great new friends.
They also organize fun moms night out events and discounted shopping events at local shops.

I'm so glad I found Fit4Mom! Exercise has always been important to me but I wasn't sure what that would look like after having my first baby. I found Fit4Mom online and signed up for my first free class after getting the clearance from my doctor that I could exercise again. I was nervous about attending - both because I wasn't sure how I'd feel physically and because I was still getting used to this new identity of "mom". I was also running late to my first class, which didn't help. But when I arrived, Jo shared there's no such thing as running late. She was warm and welcoming, as were the rest of moms. It's such a relief as a new mom to have a space where it doesn't matter when you show up, your baby can be crying, you can pause to change a diaper, and you're always welcomed back with big smiles.
I love seeing familiar faces each week and watching everyone's kiddos grow! And it's also really nice to meet new moms who come to class week-to-week. In addition to the people, I love that the classes are outside and that Jo offers modifications for workouts. This allows you to go at your own pace, exercise safely, and challenge yourself when you're ready! Jo is wonderful. She pushes your stroller if your baby needs some extra attention while you're working out, surprises us with treats, organizes "moms nights out", and helps out whenever she sees a mamma in trouble (like when my car truck got stuck!).
